About Glenn

The work illustrated here represents commissions for both eclesiastical and secular clients and exhibition. An essential element of my work in stained and painted glass is a strong personal and where relevant, specific religious message. This work is a celebration of life and subject, complimented by an abstracted structure of narrative imagery and symbolic colour and light. Central to all of this work is the notion of light being directed within an internal space through surfaces manipulated by paint and stain. I am interested in using the traditional application of paint and stain as a contemporary medium and working at scale. (read more)
